Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes; suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
Is it in-person?
Hybrid; 3 in-person sessions are mandatory to complete the program.
Do I need to attend all sessions?
Yes — the program is sequential.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable attire (light/white preferred).
What do I bring?
Comfortable clothing and an open mind. Yoga mats and cushions are available at the center.
Will food be served?
Yes, we offer static vegetarian lunch if it is a full day event. For half day programs, Tea/ Snack will be offered.
Why is there a deposit if the program is fully sponsored?
To support committed participation, we request a $39 refundable commitment deposit to reserve your spot. This is not a fee—it is fully refundable upon program completion.
How and when will I receive my refund? Can I choose to donate instead?
Refunds are processed after program completion and attendance verification. Please request your refund within 15 days by emailing accounts@upfcal.org. Refunds are issued via check.
You may also choose to convert your deposit into a donation—this is completely optional.

Following a 26-year corporate career leading high-stakes projects across complex organizations, Parthiban has practiced under GuruMahan’s guidance since 2009.
A certified Kundalini Yoga Wisdom Teacher, he brings rare dual perspective — decades of real leadership pressure and deep yogic practice — to his work of helping leaders build cognitive resilience from the inside out.
