200-Hour Yoga
Teacher Training

Rooted in Tradition. Designed for Growth. Empowered to Teach.

A Year-Long Journey into
Classical Yoga and Inner Transformation

Rooted in the timeless traditions of Classical Ashtanga (Eight-Limbed) Yoga and Hatha Yoga, UPF’s 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training offers a transformative path of self-study, practice, and conscious living. This program is designed to deepen your understanding of Yoga as a holistic system—integrating body, breath, mind, and awareness.

With a gentle commitment of 4 hours per week, you will be guided by experienced teachers who embody the teachings they share. The training unfolds gradually, allowing the wisdom of Yoga to be absorbed and integrated into daily life.

Students are introduced to asana, pranayama, and Kundalini meditation, supported by foundational Yoga philosophy drawn from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and Thirumoolar’s Thirumantiram, along with essential studies in Yoga history, anatomy, physiology, and teaching methodology. This balanced approach prepares you to confidently guide a beginner-level yoga class or to deepen your own personal practice with clarity and purpose.

Delivered in an engaging live online format, the program emphasizes experiential learning, reflection, and community support. It is ideal for sincere practitioners seeking personal growth as well as those aspiring to teach Yoga with authenticity and integrity.

Universal Peace Foundation California has been a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance since 2014. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to apply for the RYT 200 credential with Yoga Alliance.

More than a certification, this training is an invitation into a year-long journey of transformation, connection, and meaningful service.
